Three new faces have been added to Syncron Tech's talent pool. Two of them are employed at the company's new Pori office, the other is based in Lappeenranta. – My first contact with the company was back in the late 90s. I was interested in the creation of functional and innovative reporting tools and their functioning close to production, he says. Markus Suula, the other employee in Pori, was interested in the challenges and opportunities provided by the position. – In our interviews, Jussi (managing director Jussi Kontola) knew which buttons to push. He stressed personnel expertise and an unending supply of challenges – and I was sold. Sami Syvertsen, who has recently started work as a software designer, will this month receive his Master of Science diploma from the University of Lappeenranta. His work comprises project-specific planning and implementation work and the development of SyncWare. – I was enticed by the great atmosphere at the company, which my friends who work for the company told me about. Moreover, this is a place where you can develop personally, with diverse work tasks. That is a plus but certainly presents its own challenge, Sami says. Markus is happy with the way his job has started. – All the arrangements – workplace, orientation, tools – have been exemplary, and I have been able to really get to know the team. I have also enjoyed my tasks. The creation of communication practices will likely present a challenge in the future. Our team is the only one with employees at all the Syncron Tech offices: Espoo, Pori and Lappeenranta, he explains. Marko's responsibilities include communication with all current and potential customers on the west coast. – The most challenging thing is finding the right customers and dealing with their problems. At the same time, it is the best and most interesting thing about this job, he says. Each of these men as a life outside the workplace, too. Marko has his hands full with three sons. – Six-year-old twins sure know how to keep their parents busy! Sami and Markus are both into sport as well. |
