SyncMES manages manufacturing in the factory Print E-mail

The SyncMES® (MES=Manufacturing Execution System) information system is used for production control at factory floor level for:

  • detailed production planning and presenting the plan at workstations
  • specifying design values for automation and the logic level in step with realised production
  • recording production and gathering realisation information
  • material tracking and ensuring traceability
  • monitoring disruptions and calculating efficiency key figures
  • reporting according to the needs of production management and shifts

SyncMES

In addition to these, SyncMES® can include:

  • production optimisation functions on different levels of production planning
  • workflows and user interfaces accurately customised for the customer’s production process
  • product structure and routing and quality plan maintenance, including the manufacture of order specific changes and their tracing
  • preprocessing of production income items, for example periodical totalling by manufacturing order

SyncMES® integrates with the company’s ERP system and production automation (automation and/or logic systems), linking them together. Differences between different factories or production lines can be managed at SyncMES® level, minimising the need for ERP system customisation, which is often cumbersome.

The availability of SyncMES® meets the requirements set for critical production systems. It remains up to date with the production situation in real time and provides tools for quick and flexible reaction to the developing situation.
