Syncron Tech, a company which specialises in information systems for industrial production management and related services, has opened an office in Pori. The company will now be able to provide even better service to industrial enterprises in the Pori region and western Finland, including both its existing and future customers.

Syncron Tech has been selected as the supplier of the modernisation project for the energy management system of the Finnish mills of Stora Enso, a company operating in the paper, packaging, and wood products industry. Stora Enso's production facilities in Finland, about 20 of them in all, account for six to seven per cent of each year's electricity consumption in Finland. Hence, even a minor enhancement in energy procurement is vital.
